How important is the academic degree according to your perception?
You have to know that by asking this question, the interviewer wants to know your characteristics: whether you are a theoretical academic genuine and tend to ignore the reality in the field, or you are the adventurer who worships experience while cynical in theory.
The safest thing, of course, conveys the proportionate impression. Here I will show some examples of how to answer that would support that impression:
- A person’s quality like personality and skills is as important as education.
- I am more than happy to be assessed from my work achievement and my personality.
- It would be great if it were followed with professional experience.
- It should be, but it is just not enough.
You certainly understand the purpose of the answers above. Make an impression that you are an academic who value experience or an adventurer who respects the theory.
