Director of Nursing Recruitment
Big Town General Hospital

Big Town, USA 99999

Dear Ms. Peters:

Recently it came to my attention through the job board on JobSearchJimmy.com that your hospital has a recent opening for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I am in the market for just such a position. I’ve been trained, certified, and I am experienced in this line of work and have been employed as a CNA at Billingsley Hospital for the past eight years.

Now I am looking for similar employment at Big Town General Hospital since I am currently living with my mother in her retirement years in Big Town.

I would be very grateful for the opportunity to speak with you about my ability and experience and to find out more about what you expect from the people you hire at the hospital. You would not be disappointed, I can assure you, if you selected me to fill this opening. I am good with patients, work well with co-workers, and follow protocol to the letter.

You’ll see from my enclosed resume the various duties I performed, the acknowledgment I’ve received from my previous employer and supervisor, and the references I have from various other professionals whom I’ve worked with over the years of my career in health care.

I would be more than happy to meet with you in person if you’d like to talk about what you expect from the people you hire and to find out more about me as a person and as a professional.

If you wish to interview me please call me at 777-777-7777 weekdays and weekends to set up an appointment.

Meanwhile, thank you very much for considering me for the opening as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CAN).

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Arlene Job Seeker
